The Panthers overwhelmed Spencer, putting up 51 points to stay hot in region play. Spencer couldn’t slow down Americus-Sumter’s balanced attack, dropping the Greenwave to their seventh loss of the season.
Pacelli Catholic 24, Calvary Christian 7
In a battle of Columbus private schools, Pacelli used a strong defensive effort to control Calvary Christian. The win keeps Pacelli on track in the playoff hunt.
Westover 26, Bainbridge 7
Westover stunned Bainbridge with a statement victory. The Patriots’ defense was lights out, holding a normally explosive Bearcats team to just seven points.
Griffin 38, Harris County 7
Harris County couldn’t overcome turnovers against a powerful Griffin squad. The loss pushes the Tigers further down in the region standings.
Elsewhere, several Central Georgia powers notched decisive wins, including Peach County over Dougherty (52-20) and Perry shutting out Wayne County (38-0).
