Residents on the south end of Habersham County are experiencing little to no water pressure due to an unexpected water main break, according to Demorest city officials.
The city issued a public alert about the service disruption shortly before 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13.
“Our dedicated crews are working tirelessly to resolve the issue as quickly as possible,” the alert said. The city did not say when it expects to have service fully restored.
Officials said some customers may continue to see reduced or no water pressure while repairs are underway. They apologized for the inconvenience and thanked residents for their “patience and understanding” during the repair process.
