The City of Demorest has lifted the Boil Water Advisory issued on July 31 after a water main break around Smiley Road.
The advisory impacted the rehabilitation center at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Habersham, Habersham Mills Dam Road, Smiley York Road, and Twin Peaks Drive.
The advisory was issued as a precaution against possible contamination. Those living and working in the affected areas may now resume normal water use.
