CLEVELAND, Ga. – United Way of White County is reminding residents and visitors that they will be holding their Annual Bucket Drive Fundraiser this Saturday, September 20th.

Volunteers will be stationed at Walmart in Cleveland, Highway 254, and Duncan Bridge Road, plus other locations accepting donations to support the efforts of United Way locally.

Your donation helps fund 18 local agencies providing a wide range of human services to the residents of White County, like Caring Hands Ministries, Circle of Hope, Community Helping Hands Clinic, White County 4-H, and many more.

99 percent of your donation goes to fund agencies locally.

White County United Way President, Lauren Williams, noted that you can donate where you work through the payroll deduction program. A small amount each pay period will go a long way in meeting the organization’s goal.
