Two people were injured in a head-on collision Thursday morning in White County, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
Captain Crystal Zion with the Department of Public Safety said the crash was reported at 7:33 a.m. on State Route 17 at Clayton Road, north of Robertstown.
Troopers say 51-year-old Robin Harkins of Clarkesville was driving a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport north on SR 17 when she crossed the center line and struck a southbound 2013 Ford Edge driven by 42-year-old Dana Browning of Gainesville.
Both drivers were injured in the crash. GSP reports Harkins is believed to have been under the influence of drugs at the time.
The incident remains under investigation.
