
TOCCOA FALLS, Ga. — Toccoa Falls College was recognized for its impact on local tourism during the 2025 Stephens County Chamber of Commerce Awards, held September 25. The college earned the Tourism Award, celebrating its role in drawing thousands of visitors each year to experience the beauty of Toccoa Falls and its campus.
TFC President Dr. Bob Myers accepted the honor on behalf of the college, receiving a framed certificate and glass trophy.
“The Chamber Awards is a night to celebrate excellence in the community and the Chamber of Commerce family,” said Chamber President Julie Paysen. “Each nomination is voted on by the community, giving people the chance to show their appreciation.”
The evening also featured TFC Board of Trustees member David Austin as emcee. In a special moment, Austin was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing his decades of leadership and service to Stephens County.
Following the awards ceremony, the college said in a statement, “These recognitions reflect the shared commitment of Toccoa Falls College and its community partners to excellence, service, and lasting impact in Stephens County.”
