
CLEVELAND, Ga. — Neyo Bain scored a game-high 20 points Friday to lead Tallulah Falls to a 63-39 win over New Faith Christian Academy, securing the Indians’ second straight victory in the Thanksgiving Tournament at Truett McConnell University.
Tallulah Falls improved to 4-1 on the season.
The Indians held a narrow 13-9 lead after the first quarter, fueled by 10 points from Bain and a 3-pointer from Matus Zlocha. TFS added to the margin in the second, getting four points from Brian Neely, two from Joris Jarockis and four more from Bain to take a 25-17 edge into halftime.
New Faith Christian pushed back in the third, matching Tallulah’s pace with 14 points. Bain scored six in the period, while Neely and Todor Stanimirovic each added four. Marquis Rolle also contributed a key basket as the Indians maintained a 41-31 lead.
Tallulah Falls put the game out of reach in the fourth, erupting for 24 points. Zlocha scored 10 of his 13 points in the final quarter to help close out the win.
Behind Bain’s 20 points, Zlocha finished with 13, Neely 10, Rolle eight, Louis Lenain and Stanimirovic four each, and Alberto Battino and Jarockis two apiece.
