
Authorities in Hart County made progress last week in several ongoing theft cases, including two incidents involving stolen zero-turn lawn mowers.
On Friday, May 23, according to the Hart County Sheriff’s Office, investigators recovered a Kubota zero-turn mower and a Cub Cadet zero-turn mower, both of which had been reported stolen in separate cases.
Following the investigation, authorities identified Larrente Shavaul Gaines, 28, of Hartwell, as a potential suspect. Gaines faces charges of two counts of felony burglary in the second degree.
