The Hiawassee Highlands Wine Festival returns on Saturday, May 10th, 2025, from 11 AM to 5 PM, offering an unforgettable day of wine, music, and natural beauty nestled in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains. The event is located at Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, 1311 Music Hall Road, Hiawassee, Georgia.
This annual celebration of regional wines will feature tastings from over 30 wineries, giving guests the chance to sample an array of varietals from some of the Southeast’s finest vineyards. With advance tickets available for $40.00 (or $45.00 at the gate), your admission includes a souvenir wine glass, unlimited tastings, and access to a vibrant lineup of live music, food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, and guided garden tours.

Attendees ages 16–20 can join for $25, and kids 15 and under get in free. While an ATM will be available on-site, bringing cash is recommended for purchasing bottles of your favorite wines to take home.
