Roger De La Cruz Rivera, age 58 of Columbus, Indiana, and formerly of Cornelia, passed away September 8, 2025.
Born in Tabasco, Mexico, on March 19, 1967, Roger was the son of the late Cadalario De La Cruz Escobar and the late Dora Rivera De La Cruz. Roger was a self-employed contractor and was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Cleveland.
Survivors include his wife Maria Santos Veronico Arcia, their children Luis A. De La Cruz (Ubeidy), Dora Rojas De La Cruz (Joaquin), Luis E. De La Cruz (Yesica), Mariana Queriapa De La Cruz (Panfilo), Ana G. Banuelo De La Cruz (Martin), Roger Alexander De La Cruz, Manrique De La Cruz, and Edgar De La Cruz, as well as 11 brothers and sisters and 23 grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Cleveland with Fr. Fabio A. Alvarez Posada, officiating. Interment will follow the service in Hillside Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
