A pedestrian was struck and killed on Manchester Expressway in Columbus late Saturday, September 27, 2025. The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 pm near the intersection of Hamilton Road.
46-year-old Sara Williams was pronounced dead at Piedmont Hospital at 10:58 from blunt force trauma according to Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan. Bryan said his office has located and notified the next of kin.
The investigation is being led by the Columbus Police Department’s motor squad division. No word if there are pending charges related to the deadly incident. This is a developing story. Check back here for updates.
