
HALL COUNTY, Ga. — One person was found dead early Tuesday after a house fire on Tanners Mill Road, authorities said.
Hall County Fire Rescue units were dispatched around 3:40 a.m. to the 3700 block of Tanners Mill Road following reports of a residential fire with a possible occupant still inside, according to a news release.
When crews arrived, they found a small, single-story home fully involved in flames. Firefighters immediately deployed hose lines and began a defensive attack from outside the structure.
During a primary search of the home, crews located one deceased victim inside. The bulk of the fire was quickly extinguished and brought under control.
The cause of the fire remains unknown and is under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office. The scene was turned over to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office to conduct the official death investigation.
