A No Kings 2.0 rally is scheduled in Columbus this Saturday, October 18, 2025. The event will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in front of the RiverCenter on Broadway. The rally is organized by Indivisible Columbus and Indivisible Phenix City.
Marie LaFleur said the purpose of the gathering is “a peaceful, nonpartisan rally affirming that in a democracy, power belongs to the people, not to any one leader or party. We’re gathering to speak out against authoritarianism and to stand for justice, equality, and the protection of democratic institutions.”
LaFleur, with Indivisible Phenix City said it matters because the rally for democracy is about “raising awareness, building solidarity, and empowering our community to stay engaged. Showing up means standing together for the values that define real democracy, accountability, compassion, and the freedom for everyone to have a voice.”
The rally in Columbus is part of a nationwide event expected to draw millions of protestors across the Country.
