Multi-vehicle wreck snarls traffic on GA 365

HABERSHAM COUNTY, Ga. — A multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Georgia 365 and Duncan Bridge Road caused major traffic delays Saturday evening, blocking the southbound lanes of the highway.

The wreck happened just before 6:50 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, according to Habersham County 911. Dispatchers received multiple calls reporting a collision involving several vehicles, with possible entrapment and injuries.

Emergency crews from Habersham County, the sheriff’s office, Baldwin police, and the Georgia State Patrol responded to the scene.

Initial reports indicated as many as eight vehicles may have been involved. The crash was described to 911 as a t-bone collision at the traffic light. Photos from the scene showed at least two vehicles with airbags deployed.

The southbound lanes of Georgia 365 remained blocked for more than an hour while emergency crews worked to clear the wreckage and restore traffic flow.

Georgia State Patrol troopers are investigating the crash. Officials have not yet released details on what caused the collision or whether anyone was transported for treatment.

Now Habersham has requested additional information from the Georgia State Patrol and will update this story as it becomes available.
