Traffic on Highway 115 in Lumpkin County was stalled for several hours late Wednesday night following a multi-vehicle wreck.
On October 15, the Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene near the White County line. In social media updates, the sheriff’s office urged drivers in the area to use caution and be patient. A woman who said she called 911 about the wreck called it “terrible.” At least one person had to be pulled from the wreckage.
Troopers from the Georgia State Patrol investigated the wreck. Now Habersham has requested information, but the State Patrol has not released any details.
