MOUNT AIRY — The Mount Airy Town Council will meet Monday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. to consider an amendment to the town’s alcohol ordinance that would add a new farm winery license and increase the number of licenses allowed under existing categories.
The proposed change to Section 4-30 of the town’s alcohol ordinance will receive its first reading during the meeting, which will be held at Mount Airy Town Hall.
In addition to the ordinance discussion, council members are expected to review department reports and approve minutes from the October 6 public hearing and council meeting. The agenda also includes time for public comments.
The meeting is open to the public.
