Memorial Day travelers headed home from the long holiday weekend hit a snag in Cornelia Monday when a box truck overturned in the southbound lanes of GA 365.
The accident was reported just before 5 p.m. on May 26. The wreck blocked the southbound lanes between US 441 Business and Level Grove Road for over two hours. The highway and GA 365 southbound onramp at the Cornelia exit have since reopened.
The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the cause of the wreck.

Traffic was backed up for miles in the southbound lanes toward Demorest and Tallulah Falls. There has been no report of injuries.
