
LAVONIA, Ga. — Lavonia Police Department Corporal Isaiah Crawford has been named the department’s 2025 Officer of the Year, marking the second consecutive year he has received the honor, according to a department announcement.
Crawford was selected by his peers, a recognition the department said reflects his consistent performance, professionalism and dedication to service. He was also named the department’s 2025 Top Gun Award recipient after earning the highest overall score on the Lavonia Police Department’s Top Gun firearms course.
Police officials said the dual honors highlight Crawford’s work ethic and continued commitment to excellence in serving the Lavonia community.
Crawford was recognized alongside Chief Shane Edmisten and Deputy Chief Daniel Carson during the announcement.
