Landon Parker Ramey

Landon Parker Ramey, age 16, of Mt. Airy, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

Born in Gainesville on June 1, 2009, Landon was the beloved son of Adam and Jade Williams Ramey. He was a dedicated Junior at Habersham Central High School, where he proudly played on the Men’s Varsity Golf Team. A true outdoorsman, Landon was passionate about deer hunting and eagerly anticipated the upcoming season. His love for nature and adventure was matched only by his infectious sense of humor and his kind, encouraging spirit. Landon’s heart was full of love for his family, and he was the light of his parents’ lives. He cherished his travels with his family, from the beach to the mountains, always creating memories. Landon was preceded in death by his grandmother, Annette Hurt Ramey, whose memory he held dear.

Survivors include his parents, Adam and Jade Williams Ramey of Mt. Airy, grandparents Stanley and Vickie Turner Williams of Cleveland and Donald Ramey of Mt. Airy, uncles and aunts Jimmy Williams (Kim) of Cleveland, Justin Williams (Bobbi Jo) of Cleveland, and Jill Franklin (Corey) of Cornelia, cousins Emily Williams, Conner Williams (Gillian), Alexis Williams, Skylar Williams, Liz Swain (Logan), Noah Williams, Kip Franklin, Brady Hurt (Sonya), Trey Hurt (Morgan), Gage Hurt, Ramonia Ramey, Tommy Ramey (Julie), Laura McCallister, Kathy Smith (Corey), James Nations (Maggie), Jimmy Nations (Kyla), Tabitha Ramey, Tianna Ramey, Emily McVay (Chris), Jacob Ramey (Kelley), Kara Moss (Derek), Abby McCallister, Gracie Nations and Colby Nations, great aunts and uncles L.C. and Launia Hurt, Wendall and Susan Hurt, Steve and Robin Williams, Sherri and Rusty Parker, Susan and Sanford Thompson, Clyde and Mildred Ramey, David and Nell Ramey, Randy and Tina Ramey, and Oleta and Ray Nations, as well as many extended family and numerous friends.

A service celebrating Landon’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 19, 2025, at Level Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow the service in Hillside Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
