Hall County Fire Rescue crews responded to a house fire in the early morning hours Tuesday.

At around 2:30 a.m. on September 9, firefighters were called to the 3300 block of Montvale Drive for reports of heavy flames. When they arrived, crews found a small residence fully engulfed. Firefighters began attacking the blaze from outside before moving inside to bring it under control.

The home’s occupants had already made it out safely before emergency personnel arrived, and firefighters confirmed no one was trapped inside, said fire department spokesperson Kimberlie Ledsinger.

The structure is considered a total loss. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
