
GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Hall County sheriff’s investigators are asking for the public’s help locating a Gainesville man wanted in connection with a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured three people.
Doroteo Arroyo-Gonzalez, 24, is wanted on three felony counts of serious injury by vehicle and one felony count of hit and run, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Unit. Investigators say Arroyo-Gonzalez was the at-fault driver in a head-on crash early Sunday morning, Dec. 7, on Harmony Church Road between Thousand Oaks Drive and One Horse Lane.
Authorities said Arroyo-Gonzalez fled the scene on foot after the crash, leaving behind a black 2015 GMC Sierra. Three people traveling in the other vehicle were injured.
In addition to the felony warrants, Arroyo-Gonzalez faces citations for driving on the wrong side of the road, failure to wear a seat belt, window tint and tire violations, altered suspension and having an open container, the sheriff’s office said.
Arroyo-Gonzalez is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
