Free summer meals available for Habersham County Students

Habersham County Schools will provide free summer meals to children aged 0–18 from June 2 through July 17. This initiative ensures that students continue to receive nutritious meals during the summer months.

Meal Service Details

Dates: June 2 – July 17 (No Meals
Days: Monday through Thursday
Eligibility: All children aged 0–18
Cost: Free
No registration or ID required

Meals are available in two formats:

Congregate Sites: Children eat on-site.
Non-Congregate Pickup Sites: Meals are available for take-home.

Food and Nutrition Service

On Thursdays, an extra meal is provided to cover Friday.

Cornelia Elementary School, 375 Old Cleveland Road, Cornelia
Breakfast: 8:00 – 8:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Tim Lee Boys & Girls Club, 2668 Old Cleveland Road, Cornelia
Breakfast: 8:00 – 8:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Additional Support

In collaboration with Food 4 Kids and Volunteers for Literacy, the program also provides books to encourage reading during the summer.
