FBI Atlanta announces a reward of up to $20,000 now for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the two unknown suspects responsible for the 2021 homicide of Amit Patel.
On December 6th, 2021, Mr. Patel visited the Synovus bank at 4505 Buena Vista Road in Columbus to deposit money from his business. As he approached the front door of the bank, two suspects pulled into the parking lot in a stolen Toyota Tacoma with missing license plates.
One suspect got out of the vehicle and shot Mr. Patel. Mr. Patel died at the scene as the robber took all his money. Both suspects fled in the stolen Tacoma.
