Essie Mae Freeman Loudermilk, age 84 of Cornelia, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015.
Born in Habersham County on July 30, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Sadie Burgess Freeman. Mrs. Loudermilk was retired from Fieldale Farms and was of the Baptist faith. Â
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Loudermilk; son, George Loudermilk; brother, Jiimmy Freeman; sister, Betty Ballew; niece, Ann Freeman.
Surviving are sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Lloyd Frady of Toccoa; brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Betty Freeman of Toccoa; nephew, Michael Freeman of Toccoa.
Funeral services are 11 am Thursday, December 24, 2015, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Scott Slaton officiating.
Interment will follow in Hazel Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
