Earnest Howard Mullinax, age 72, of Clarkesville, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
Born on July 4, 1953, in Demorest, he was a son of the late Guy Howard and Emma Forrester Mullinax. Earnest was retired after many years of employment with R&S Trucking, and Quality Foods. He is remembered as a loving husband, father, papa, and brother, who provided for his family and always drove a Ford.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Larry and Barry Mullinax; and sister, Teresa Mullinax.
He is survived by his wife, Johann B. Mullinax; son and daughter-in-law, John Beauchamp (Crystal); granddaughters, Hannah and Isabella Beauchamp; brother and sister-in-law, J.G. Mullinax (Bonnie); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; his children, Amy, Jessica, Paul, and Aletha Mullinax; additional grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2 pm on Monday, December 1, 2025, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & McEntire with Rev. Connie Berry officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm on Sunday, at the funeral home.
