CLAYTON, Ga. — More than 200 people gathered Saturday for the annual 9th Congressional District “Blue BBQ,” a Democratic rally featuring several state and federal candidates.

Nick Alex, Democratic candidate for Georgia’s 9th District Congressional seat, was among the featured speakers. He was joined by former House Minority Leader Bob Trammell, who’s running for state attorney general; Clarence Blalock, candidate for state labor commissioner; and Peter Hubbard, candidate for the Public Service Commission.
