A Georgia Lottery player won $1 million in the Dec. 22 Powerball drawing as the jackpot reached $1.7 billion for the Christmas Eve drawing. That ticket was purchased by a Jonesboro resident on the Georgia Lottery website and matched all five white-ball numbers. Two players won $100,000 by matching four of the five white-ball numbers and the Powerball. By selecting the Power Play option, their winnings were doubled from $50,000. Those tickets were purchased at QuikTrip, 1515 Beaver Ruin Road in Norcross, and by a Columbus resident on the website.

Nine more players won $50,000 by matching four of the five white-ball numbers and the Powerball. Those tickets were purchased at:

  • Circle K Stores, 7330 Veterans Parkway in Columbus
  • Kroger, 1310 Powers Ferry Road SE in Marietta
  • Wilson Market, 6456 Crest Highway in Thomaston
  • On the Georgia Lottery mobile app by a Fairburn resident
  • Publix, 171 Village AT Glynn Place in Brunswick
  • Exxon Food Mart, 1350 Boggs Road in Duluth
