The final day of qualifying for the City of Cleveland’s November 4 municipal election on Friday yielded no new qualifiers.
Cleveland City Clerk Lisa Ritchie said with only the two incumbents, CJ McDonald in District 4, and Jeremy McClure, District 3, there is no need for the election to be held.
The election was set for November 4th, but with no additional candidates qualifying, Georgia law allows for the election to be cancelled.
