Eric Donnie Ramirez, age 20, of Cornelia, Georgia, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
He will be remembered as an incredibly intelligent young man with a quick wit and a kind, gentle nature. His friends and co-workers at Jersey Mike’s Sub Shop will remember him as a hard worker and faithful employee who put others before himself. His friends at First Baptist Church, Cornelia, will remember his beautiful, thoughtful prayers offered during worship. His friends in the FBC Youth Group will remember his fun-loving spirit and his ginormous sweet tooth. Eric is preceded in death by his guardian, Elizabeth Jo Stamps, who raised him as her grandson.
Eric is survived by his father, Javier Ramirez of Abasolo, Guanajuato, Mexico; mother, Devona Mischelle Murray Ramirez, of Clarkesville; sister Rosa Jasmeen Ramirez of Taylors, SC, and a host of friends from First Baptist Church and Jersey Mike’s Sub Shop.
Private Memorial Services were held.
