CLARKESVILLE, Ga. — The boil water advisory for Bartley Wilbanks Drive between Minus Street and Woodland Road in Clarkesville has been lifted.
City officials canceled the advisory after water quality tests confirmed the system is safe.
The precaution was issued Monday night following a water system issue in the neighborhood southeast of downtown Clarkesville. Crews worked to correct the problem and restore normal pressure.
Residents no longer need to boil water before drinking, cooking, or preparing baby formula. The advisory applied only to homes along Bartley Wilbanks in the affected stretch and did not impact other parts of the city.
