A Muscogee County jail worker has been arrested for allegedly having sex with an inmate.
According to Sheriff Greg Countryman on September 13th, 2025, the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit received information regarding allegations of misconduct of a medical employee of the Muscogee County Jail contract medical provider.
After further investigation, evidence was discovered that the contract medical provider employee, Jasmine Threatts, did engage in sexual relations with an inmate while she was on duty at the Muscogee County Jail.
Jasmine Threatts was taken immediately taken into custody by MCSO Investigators without incident. She was booked into the Muscogee County Jail. She was charged with Felony Improper Sexual Contact by Employee or Agent GA Code 16-6-5.1b(3).
This case remains under investigation.
