An alert was activated at Banks County Primary School this morning after two individuals were spotted walking across school grounds.
The Banks County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement explaining the alert is part of the school’s “safety protocol.” Officials investigated and determined the individuals had simply walked through the property after leaving the Banks County Library.
Authorities confirmed there was no threat to students, staff, or the community.
“The Banks County Sheriff’s Office and Banks County Schools take every alert and report seriously,” officials stated. “The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority, and we will always respond swiftly to ensure their protection.”
